My passion for exploration was ignited at a tender age when I undertook my first solo voyage to visit my father, who was pursuing his MD in a distant city, Harbin, China. This early taste of adventure set the stage for a lifetime of exploration.
My forever harbor, could not ask for a better family
By 17, I had ventured further afield, embracing the vibrant cultures of Southeast Asia on my first international solo trip. Since then, my feet have scarcely touched the ground, leading me to the cusp of fulfilling a childhood dream: setting foot on all seven continents by the age of 30. With six continents under my belt, Antarctica remains the final frontier, a dream momentarily paused by the global pause button known as COVID-19. Outside of trekking the globe, I navigate the tech world as a project manager and 2x startup co-founder.

Life's journey has since woven in beautiful complexities, including marrying my soulmate and becoming a mother to two incredible boys, aged 4 and 5. The evolution of our family has opened the doors to more diverse travel experiences, allowing us to create memories distinct from those of my solo adventures. Along with our two loyal dogs, they have become my cherished travel companions. It's a joy to witness the spark of curiosity in my children's eyes as they too become little globetrotters, eager to discover every corner of this vast, fascinating world.

Having nurtured a passion for writing since the age of 6, I embarked on my first blogging journey in middle-high school with a Chinese blog, a venture that was eventually paused. My love for storytelling resulted in publishing two novels at the ages of 17 and 19. It wasn't until later, at 2023, that I reignited this passion by starting a travel blog. This platform serves as my digital canvas to document, share, and reflect on the myriad experiences and insights gathered from my travels, offering a space to not just record adventures but to also inspire and connect with others who share a love for exploration.
